Our PTA
At its heart, Belinder PTA is about creating a school where students feel supported, teachers feel valued, and families feel connected. Membership, fundraising, programs, events, and volunteer work are simply the ways we help make that happen.
What Belinder PTA Does
PTA works in partnership with Belinder to strengthen the student, staff, and family experience throughout the school year.
Support Students
Help fund learning experiences, classroom resources, enrichment, school programs, and opportunities that directly benefit Belinder students.
Support Staff
Provide teacher grants, appreciation, classroom support, and resources that help Belinder teachers and staff do their work.
Build Community
Create events, traditions, and shared experiences that help families connect and feel part of the Belinder community.
Strengthen Belinder
Partner with school leadership, families, and volunteers to respond to needs and invest in the school experience beyond district funding.

PTA membership is one of the simplest ways to support the work happening at Belinder.
Membership must be renewed each school year. If you joined last year, thank you! Please renew for 2026–2027 to remain a current PTA member and continue access to the secure Belinder Family Directory.

Support Belinder
There are many ways to support Belinder throughout the year. Every donation, purchase, and fundraiser helps PTA invest in our students, staff, and school community.
Give Where Belinder Needs It Most
Belinder PTA donations help fund the programs, resources, experiences, and additional support that strengthen our school community and enrich learning for every Belinder Bear.
Each year, funding priorities are determined in partnership with Belinder staff based on where PTA support can make the greatest impact. Depending on the needs of the school, this may include classroom resources, student programming, school-wide initiatives, enrichment opportunities, or additional staff and specialist support beyond what is funded by the Shawnee Mission School District.
Every gift gives Belinder PTA greater flexibility to respond to student and staff needs and invest where it can make the greatest difference.
Donations to Belinder PTA are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
